Before we get into what April has brought, the latest count says that Livin' With Lymphoma has reached 64,500 unique visitors, exactly six months since I started writing. I mean, it's not quite comparable to that guy, Stephen, who has raised £3 million for the Teenage Cancer Trust, but I am still very proud.
April has been and gone. It's been a magical month for me as my body started to regenerate and my strength is returning. Don't get me wrong, I'm not back to normal quite yet, but anything is an improvement on how I was just one month ago.
My hair is growing (hooray!), my eyebrows are thickening (double hooray!) and I had to shave my beard for the first time in four months. Not long left until I look like Hagrid, hopefully.
I'll tell you what. So much has happened during April that it would be boring to read every little thing. Instead, I have produced an 'April Timeline'. Enjoy!
Congratulations! You have reached the month of May! |
A special thank you to Pam and Nick of the Amy Wallace Magpie Trust for putting on such a wonderful cookery day at the Angel Building, and for giving two tickets to the Harry Potter Studio Tour which Mum and I enjoyed thoroughly.
Finally, I went to visit Ros Marks last night who is busy perfecting the upcoming Josh For Laughs comedy night. As am I writing this, there are 36 tickets remaining. Anybody who wants a ticket must buy one now otherwise they will be very disappointed! Tickets can be purchased here.
For anybody who would like to help but cannot attend the comedy night, please make a donation to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research via my JustGiving page by clicking here. Thank you!
I wonder how many of you saw the article in the latest edition of the Jewish Chronicle? That's right! My beautiful face met newspaper print. Click here to see the online article.
That's it for now! I'm flying out to Seville for a two-week holiday and I doubt that I'll be updating the blog until my return. See you all at Josh For Laughs on the 21st May!
